UPDATE! The first Training Course in Christian Social Development and Transformation for 2008 ended on May 16 with lunch at Maphindi’s Butchery/Restaurant. Fifteen people completed the course, and a good time was had by all. There was such a sense of God’s presence and many felt really challenged in their thinking and greatly encouraged in their work. Some comments from participants: “How encouraging it is to have like-minded people with the same goals around you.” “I have learnt so much and I look forward to being a tool that God can use to transform my church.” “The course was run with excellence. To God be the glory. Thank you so much.” We will not be running a second full-time course this year, but will instead run the training over a course of seven evenings: Dates: Monday evenings, July 14 – Aug 25 Time: 19h30 – 21h30 Venue: Church of the Holy Spirit, Raapkrall Rd, Kirstenhof Contact the Warehouse for more details or to register. |
