Equipping and MobilisingTraining Course in Christian Social Transformation The Training Course in Christian Social Transformation equips people to engage in community transformation according to Biblical community development principles. The last course for 2009 ended on October 16, with 20 participants. Once again it was a most uplifting course, with facilitators learning as much as participants. Below are comments from two of the participants: "Thanks so much for an amazing time on the Transformation course. You have inspired and impacted me! I even look at my Development Studies textbooks with new eyes. The world can be very negative about the state of poverty, but we have a Hope that can conquer it all. Thanks for the very practical tools and insights." "I found the Transformation week to be truly transforming. There are now so many different and new ways in which I am seeing people and situations. My faith in Jesus as the only True Transformer has been strengthened. Thanks you to the incredible team who led us with patience, clarity of instruction, great exercises, workshops, and humour." The course has been running since 2005 and is done twice a year. It consists of a week of training followed by ten weeks in community, and ending with another week-long training session. During the ten weeks, participants implement their learning in their church or workplace and complete an assignment. * NEXT COURSE * NEXT COURSE * NEXT COURSE * Module 1: 15-19 February 2010 Module 2: 10-14 May Contact us for an application form.
