GUIDELINES ON GIVING AT THE WAREHOUSE

Prayerfully consider what, whether and how Jesus is calling you to give.

Giving Time

  • Giving of your time whenever you are able,as an individual or as a group, at the Warehouse or outside (some of which could be included within your own work day).
  • In The Warehouse:

-Sorting and packing donations, counting love packs for delivery, prayer, delivering goods, admin. etc

  • Outside The Warehouse:

-Hosting international volunteers

-short term/ long term

-Preparing food for gatherings and prayer times

-Collecting and delivering items (your transport)

-Washing/ mending donations, giving of time in the community to aid carer workers

-Using your skills: admin, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, DIY, knitting, IT, medical, tutoring

-Using your networks/ useful contacts with suppliers

  • Small groups and other

Sorting, packing and prayer at The Warehouse, tapping into and ‘adopting’ particular project needs like sporting activities, outings, creative mornings, DIY, Christmas parties for carers and orphans

 

Giving Things

  • You may be unable to give of your time or money but are able to give that which you have i.e. your possessions or items that you feel God is calling you to give.
  • Items must be of a good quality, clean and in working order; ‘give as you would like to receive’ and “love your neighbour as yourself”.
  • Seasonal items:
-Easter eggs for Orphan care
-Winter clothing
-School jerseys (V-neck, bottle green, black, maroon and navy) ages 6-18 yrs
-Blankets in winter
-School stationary in October
-Christmas gifts for orphans 1-18yrs and for carers
