Changemakers in the church are growing in numbers! Our goal is to raise R300,000 to equip 120 Christ-centred social activists and church leaders to meet the need for change in our communities.
Please consider investing into equipping these Changemakers in the Church. No matter the size, your contribution will invest in church-led transformation across Cape Town and South Africa.

According to the most recent government analysis almost half of the adult population live below the poverty line and COVID-19 has only exacerbated South Africa’s poverty and inequality in devastating ways.
It is also interesting to note that more than 70% of South Africans attend church regularly, so we are a nation strongly influenced by the Christian faith. Change is needed, and as Christians, we believe that it can and should start with us.
We are encouraged by many Changemakers in the church and the active role they continue to play in changing South African society. Our mission is to inspire, equip and connect churches to address poverty, injustice, and division as they actively participate in civil society by:
- Equipping local congregations, led by these Changemakers, to be active and effective in their local community with others, bringing change through transformative mission.
- Bringing together and nurturing leaders from different local church communities (both privileged/high income and lower resourced) to be ‘Jesus Justice Changemakers’ as they support and participate in community initiatives.
- Creating and maintaining local, national and international networks that work collaboratively aligning faith communities and civil society into cohesive responses to unjust systemic issues.
