The last quarter of 2021 is here and while the year is winding down, the journeys within The Warehouse are definitely not! Looking back over the last 18 months, our primary invitation as we partner and press into asking questions regarding what it means to seek the shalom of the cities and world we are in, has been an invitation into collaboration, connection and creativity.
Connection within the team, within the wider Warehouse community and with partner organisations; creativity as different ways of working have been initiated; and collaboration as we deepen our shared impact with partner organisations across our city, country, continent and world.
This newsletter reflects all of those components as, in difficult times, the work of The Warehouse has continued, with flexibility as well as focus.
Collaboration, sharing hearts, strategies and strengths are key to working towards shalom, particularly in light of the pending shifts and changes taking place at The Warehouse in terms of its staff team. Over the last 19 years The Warehouse has been directed by Craig Stewart, a leader whose heart has been for the work and the people doing the work. A leader who has affirmed partnerships, as well as engagements. As The Warehouse board, we are now in the privileged position of affirming this practically as we see Craig enter into the next season in his and his family’s life of connection, creativity and collaboration within a new role outside of The Warehouse, but within the bigger global community – it’s not a goodbye at the end of January, but a see you at the table soon Craig! Make sure to read Craig’s letter for details.
On behalf of the Board, thank you for the prayer and support as well as your participation in different spaces. We invite you to keep The Warehouse in prayer as well as consider what you can offer in support as this next season of The Warehouse emerges.
