Contextual Bible Study (CBS) is a practice of reading, studying and interpreting the Bible through bringing an analysis of the local context into conversation with an analysis of the biblical context. This is done in order to foster a more faithful practice of Christianity, leading to individual and social transformation. This manual equips leaders in and of churches begin to construct Contextual Bible Studies for their own contexts and communities.
